Definition

Ergonomics Software

Ergonomics Software (or Human Factors as it is more commonly known in the US) refers to the abundance of software solutions for dealing with a variety of ergonomics issues such as Manual Handling, ergonomics or Display Screen Equiment Assessments, anthropometric databases and other software tools. This is in 2 main software categories: ergonomics assessment and training.

ergonomics assessments
The ergonomics assessment takes the form of an checklist.  The questionnaire is standard and has been written by the company ergonomist Emil Reisser-Weston MSc MErgS.  The text in the ergonomics checklist can be changed using the content management system.  Alternatively the system will link to any Training/Learning Management System (SCORM compliant LMS) for complete customisation.
