Definition |
DSE DSE or " Display Screen Equipment" is a phrase often used in conjunction with office ergonomics and office safety. The term was used to describe any type of electronic input device. When the European DSE Regulations 1992 came out equipmnent other than computers (or PCs) were common so this all encapsulating term was used to include other devices such as microfiches etc. As such the term is more commonly used in the UK. By 2005 the term DSE and PC are used synonymously in most ergonomics texts. |
